The Red Rhino 4000 series is a jaw action portable crusher that will crush a full UK kerbstone in approximately 60 seconds. Instant hydraulic adjustable jaws allow output aggregate sizes to range from 20mm up to 80mm. Dust suppression is fitted as standard, by means of fine water spray nozzles utilising standard domestic hose pressure. This helps keep the dust levels down, especially if you're using the mini crusher on a hot dry day.

These hardcore crushers are ideal for landscape gardeners, small builders and developers. They are very simple to operate and incredibly cheap to run. The 4000 series simply cannot be matched for its reliability, performance and versatility by anything else in the market. Hiring a Red Rhino 4000 series for small scale rubble crushing is a very cost effective method of avoiding large muck away bills and bought in hardcore costs. Simply drive the crusher into position, select the desired output size, start the crusher and conveyor system and start to crush. Up and crushing in less than 5 minutes.

The 4000 series can pass through a doorway meaning back garden sites and awkward access areas can still be accessed. The 4000 series makes light work of reinforced concrete, brick, porcelain and other aggregate type products. It even crushes glass!

The 14hp diesel engine fitted to this micro crusher consumes fuel at approximately 2 litres per hour, and with a 10 litre fuel tank you can operate the machine for roughly 5 hours before needing to refill the tank.

You can fill the hopper with material by hand, or with a small excavator. Note that whilst the hopper is sufficiently large, if you're not careful when loading you can end up with material spilling around the machine. We'd recommend using a maximum bucket size of 10 inches if loading with an excavator.

To maximise the machine's output, steadily feed material into the hopper. Overloading the hopper can actually reduce the output.

If you're processing reinforced concrete containing rebar, we'd recommend removing the conveyor belt, which is quick and easy to do. Sharp steel could damage the rubber belt.
