Boxing ring towers, also known as Quad towers or link towers are a type of scaffold tower designed for working at height where a lot of working area is required. Platforms can be designed to your requirements to facilitate tasks such as plastering, drylining, painting and decorating.
Similar to standard alloy towers, they are assembled from sets of frames, horizontal and diagonal braces, stabilisers, trap platforms, wheels, and a toeboard set.
Adjustable, locking castors allow the tower to be moved around site and erected on slightly uneven ground. Platforms are manufactured from a non slip ply for safety, and 1.1m guardrails minimise the risk of falling from the platform. In addition, each boxing ring tower is provided with a toeboard set that prevent items falling off the side of the tower.
The tower frames and braces are manufactured from 2mm thick, 48mm diameter ribbed aluminium alloy tubing that is fully compatible with scaffolding systems, as well as providing superior strength compared with other manufacturers.
Trapdoors can be fitted at various points on the platform to allow personnel to enter and exit the tower safely.
