Alloy scaffold towers are are great solution to working at height. They are assembled from sets of frames, horizontal and diagonal braces, stabilisers, trap platforms, wheels, and a toeboard set. They are a versatile access solution that provide a self supporting structure for working at height. Towers can be used indoors and outdoors, and are a popular and versatile access solution on construction sites.
Adjustable, lockable castors allow the tower to be moved around site and erected on slightly uneven ground. Platforms are manufactured from a non slip ply for safety, and 1.1m guardrails minimise the risk of falling from the platform. In addition, each access tower is provided with a toeboard set that prevent items falling off the side of the tower.
The tower frames and braces are manufactured from 2mm thick, 48mm diameter ribbed aluminium alloy tubing that is fully compatible with scaffolding systems, as well as providing superior strength compared with other manufacturers. Conical head fittings prevent frames from jamming when dismantling towers so hammer damage is totally eliminated. An additional benefit of the head fittings is the frames automatically lock together during assembly.
Assembly guides are provided with each tower using the 3T method (Through The Trapdoor). Read our guide on building scaffold tower.
