18V Cordless Angle Grinder

Cordless Angle Grinders are very versatile tools, hired for a wide variety of applications across many construction sectors.

Battery powered grinders are best suited for intermittent use on lighter work, typically up to 30 minutes at a time. Continuous heavy use can result in damage such as burnt out brushes, so we recommend hiring 110V Angle grinders if you are doing this type of work.

Angle grinders can create a lot of dust when being used heavily, so remember to take precautions and wear a dust mask when using.

Applications

When fitted with the appropriate blade, angle grinders can cut metal, stone, tiles, masonry and ceramics.

They can also be used to grind metal such as steel, and are often fitted with flap discs to smooth out welds on metal fabrication jobs. Grinders can also be used with a cup grinding wheel to remove concrete burrs created by construction of reinforced concrete frames.

Used with a segmented diamond blade to cut masonry & stone, used with a thin abrasive blade for metals.
