The Towmate twin axle plant trailer from ATE is the ultimate solution for towing mini & micro excavators, 8m and 10m electric scissor lifts, twin drum rollers and other plant machinery.

These braked double axle small Plant trailers are available for hire, and can be delivered or collected from a distribution centre near you.

Plant trailers are often chosen as the best solution to transport small machines, and are often rented by utilities contractors that work near a road and need to move machines on a daily basis.

Note that these trailers need to be towed by a vehicle fitted with a ball hitch towbar. They are suitable for flange towbars as well as swan neck/goose neck towbars. 2.7t and 3.5t Plant Trailers available.

• Fitted with high grip, full width ramp. Ramp is gas assisted to make lifting it easy.
• Low bed means the centre of gravity is low for safety & stability
• Loading height of just 380mm
• Extended drawbar prevents excavator boom touching rear of towing vehicle.

• Twin axle for stable load when towing heavy equipment
• Jockey wheel and breakaway cable fitted. Jockey wheel needs to be elevated and secured when towing, Breakaway cable fitted and free from obstruction.
• Integrated side steps make stepping onto the trailer easy.

• LED Lights fitted, ensure that the 7 pin power connector is fitted to the vehicle
• 4x 2.5t recessed lashing points fitted. Please remember to bring ratchet straps to secure the load using the lashing points.
• Extra long 1400mm ramp provides a reduced ramp angle making it easier to drive on machines with low ground clearance like scissor lifts.
• Payload of 2161kg, meaning a 1.5t mini excavator can fit with buckets and attachments easily.
• Plywood flatbed
