Drum Floor Sander

Drum Floor Sanders are ideal for preparing and renovating wooden floors for revarnishing, staining or polishing. The upright drum sander covers the main floor area of a room, and is a simple walk-behind operation.

Applications

Drum floor sanders are usually hired for house renovation projects, and are used on decorative wooden floors like parquet and plank wood floors. Ensure that loose flooring is nailed or screwed down, and that any raised screw/nail heads are sunk into the wood to prevent them tearing the sanding sheets.

This machine is designed for heavy duty sanding of wooden floors, but doesn't sand right up to the edge of floors. Typically, this machine will be used alongside an edging sander to reach areas near skirting boards and corners.
